Historic Venues

Hollywood’s early days were set into motion in our magnificent Crystal Ballroom in 1927,when it hosted the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences’ founding banquet. The venue went on to host eight more Academy Awards banquets in the ‘30s and ‘40s. President John F.Kennedy, a guest at The Biltmore, also spoke in the hotel’s ballrooms during the 1960 Democratic National Convention.

Our nine mezzanine breakout rooms make for highly versatile event spaces, from small meetings of 15 or less, to larger sessions of up to 125. Expect opulent surroundings decorated with hand-painted details, carved plaster ceilings in Greco-Roman motifs, and polished wood-panelled walls.
