London Meets Dubai Afternoon Tea

This season, The Biltmore Mayfair introduces the London Meets Dubai Afternoon Tea, a beautifully curated experience that brings together the essence of two remarkable cities.

Served in the elegant Foliage Lounge, the menu draws inspiration from our sister hotel in Dubai and the growing global love for its artisanal chocolate scene. At the heart of it lies the Pistachio Dusk Dubai Chocolate Cake - a layered indulgence of Jivara milk chocolate mousse, crisp pistachio, and chocolate sablé.

The journey continues with a refined selection of sandwiches, from Hereford roast beef with celeriac remoulade to beetroot hummus with grilled Mediterranean vegetables — each one balancing British seasonality with subtle Middle Eastern influences.

The patisserie selection offers a delicate contrast of flavours and textures. Highlights include The Lavender Oasis, a lemon posset with lavender jelly; Rose of the Emirati, a vanilla sponge infused with rose and raspberry ganache; and The Palm Purse, an almond and lime frangipane topped with strawberry gel and vanilla ganache.

Scones are served warm in seasonal varieties — plain, cranberry & orange, and white chocolate & lemon — with clotted cream, lemon curd, strawberry jam, and British summer honeycomb.

Guests can choose from a thoughtful selection of teas by JING, or elevate the experience with a glass of Nyetimber Chéries Sparkling Wine.
